Large Crown Sycamore Veneer Flower Press
Each Flower Press is Hand Crafted on the west coast of Ireland in a rural family run workshop.
It is made from Birch Plywood, with the top board veneered in beautiful Crown Sycamore Wood. Each Press is then engraved with our proud Wild Hare logo.
All the hardware used throughout the press is brass, which will become even more beautiful with age.
Each Flower Press comes with 4 cardboard separators & 4 precious sheets of thick highly absorbent Blotting Paper. A wonderful addition is also the inclusion of a Birch Ply Separator Board for when pressing more robust flower heads such as roses.
A branded Canvas Bag with extra long handles to allow you to carry your Flower Press over your shoulder when foraging. Also included with your press, is an Organic Canvas Cotton branded Canvas drawstring bag to place your Snips inside and not scratch your beautiful Flower Press when happily tromping though the hedgerows.
Here at The Flower Press Company we believe in Love At First and we want you to know that your Flower Press will be shipped to you in a natural brown cardboard box and nestled safely & snuggly in recycled shredded cardboard.

Chestnut Crown cut shows us the first bundles from a log because it is sliced over the heart. That produces the so-called cathedral structure, so much sought after in crown cut bundles and that raises its natural essence.
Here we show the natural veneer, without dying or treatments that changes its own naturally. Here, we can make the most of its yellow to dark colour, that makes it very recognizable this wood.
